Day 1  - Alexandria to Cairo

Your private shore excursion from Alexandria to Cairo will be by road (approximately 3 hours) in an air-conditioned vehicle with a rest stop on the way. Upon arrival at Giza you will start your tour with a visit to Sakkara, part of Memphis's massive necropolis, and the burial site of the most ancient of Pharaohs seeing the first pyramids build in Egypt, the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, designed by Imhotep the ancient Egyptian architect. Then a visit to the Teti Pyramid, Tomb of Mereruca and other monuments in Sakkara followed by a transfer to Memphis, the ancient Capital of Egypt to visit the colossal statue of Ramses II and nearby a still half-buried Hathor Temple. A drive to the famous Giza Plateau will reveal Egypt’s signature attractions, that of the Great Pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world including the Great Pyramid of Cheops, middle Pyramids of Chephren, the smallest Pyramid of Mykerinos and mysterious Sphinx, (known as the Father of Terror to the ancient Pharaohs). The tour includes a visit to the Valley Temple facing the great Sphinx and a shopping tour to famous Bazaars and Papyrus Institutes in the Giza area with lunch at a good quality restaurant around Pyramids area. Back to your Cairo Hotel to check in and overnight in Cairo.

Day 2 - Cairo to Alexandria
After breakfast at the Hotel in Cairo, your private English speaking Egyptologist Guide will escort you to the world-renowned Museum of Egyptian Antiquities that was built in neo-classical style designed by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon which exhibited collections now exceed 120000 masterpieces ranging from Pre-Dynastic era, Pharaonic era to the Greco-Roman period in Egypt including the treasures of the child King Tutankhamen, Pharaonic Gods and Goddesses with lunch served at good quality restaurant.
