Itinerary:

Day 1: Welcome to Egypt, the Land of the Pharaohs

On arrival at Cairo International Airport, our Tour Manager will meet and assist you on arrival at Cairo International Airport and then transfer you by air-conditioned vehicle to your Hotel in Cairo. They will also assist you with the check-in and inform you of your itinerary for each tour in Cairo.

Day 2: Pyramids of Giza, Egyptian Museum and Old Bazaar

Start your day with breakfast at the Hotel, then your personal Tour Guide will collect you and accompany you to one of the greatest seven wonders of the world, the magnificent three Pyramids of Cheops at the Giza Plateau known as Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. Included in the Giza Plateau is the watchful great Sphinx guarding the Pyramids. Lunch will be included at a good quality local restaurant before being taken to the new Grand Egyptian Museum, alternatively called the Giza Museum, an archaeological treasure trove in Giza, Egypt, approximately 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from the renowned Giza pyramid complex. The GEM Complex grants restricted entry to evaluate site preparedness and visitor experiences before its official opening. At present, access is confined to the Main Galleries, Grand Hall, Grand Staircase, commercial zone, and outdoor garden areas. Back to your Hotel for a leisurely evening.

Day 3: Flight Cairo to Luxor – Embark Nile Cruise

Breakfast at the Hotel then you will be transferred from Cairo Airport to Luxor Airport. On arrival in Luxor, you will be met and then transferred to your Nile Cruise. On arrival at your Cruise Boat, you will be assisted with check-in and then enjoy lunch onboard. In the afternoon, you will be escorted by your Guide to the center of Luxor to explore the stunning Karnak and Luxor Temples. Karnak Temple was the first magnificent Temple during the first Pharaonic Kingdom. Then transfer back to your Nile Cruise for an overnight stay. Overnight stay in Luxor.

Day 4: Luxor Nile cruising with excursions

Breakfast onboard, then an escorted visit to the famous West Bank in Luxor to the renowned Valley of the Kings, home to the discovery of 62 Pharaohs. Included will be a visit to the Mortuary Temple of the first female Pharaoh Hatshepsut, built during the New Kingdom in the 15 th Century BC. Then moving on to the Huge Colossi of Memnon, said to have been the original entrance to the Valley of the Kings.
Back to your Cruise in Luxor for lunch, then set sail to Edfu. Overnight in Edfu.

There is an option to take ‘once in a lifetime experience in a hot air balloon ride at sunrise to fly over the magnificent Valley of the Kings and really see the beauty of the sunrise over this ancient wonder considered an ‘open-air museum’. Prices are $129 per person.

Day 5: Edfu Temple and Kom Ombo Temples

Breakfast on board your cruise, then your Guide will take you to Edfu Temple, home of the great Temple of Horus, the falcon God dating back to the Hellenistic Greek period. Then you will sail on to the interesting unique Temple of Kom Ombo, home of the Crocodile God Sobek. Lunch onboard then sailing on to the stunning Nubian city of Aswan under the spectacular Aswan Bridge and the high sandstone cliffs of the Tombs of the Nobles. Leisurely evening onboard with dinner and relaxation. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 6: Aswan Tours

Welcome to beautiful Nubian Aswan! Breakfast onboard, then a fascinating day of sightseeing tours in pretty and colorful Aswan. The first stop will be the Unfinished Obelisk at the ancient quarries of Aswan. It was unfinished due to visible cracks appearing in the granite stone.
Finally, a visit to the island where the stunning Temple of Philae was devoted to the two important female goddesses of Isis and Hathor. Once you have seen the beauty of this Temple, you will be transferred back to your Nile Cruise for relaxation. Overnight stay in Aswan.

Day 7: Flight from Aswan to Cairo

After breakfast on the Nile Cruise, you will bid farewell to the amazing staff and be transferred to Aswan Airport back to Cairo. On arrival in Cairo, you will be met by our Representative, then transferred back to a Hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay. You may wish to explore any additional tours before leaving Cairo. Day 8: Depart Cairo – Flight to Kenya

Breakfast at the Hotel in Cairo then some free leisure time before being transferred to Cairo International Airport for your flight to Nairobi.
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport, you will be greeted by our Representative who will assist you on your transfer to Nairobi Serena Hotel which is a member of ‘The Leading Hotels of the World’ along with being selected as Kenya’s leading Business Hotel and also Africa’s greenest Hotel by the World Travel Awards 2016. Day 9: Amboseli National Park

Today after breakfast, you will be collected by your driver and Guide to travel to the Amboseli National Park. On arrival, you will have lunch at a delightful Lodge then proceed on a spectacular drive to experience spotting the local game in the Park which is located at the stunning foot of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. The Mountain rises towers above the clouds dominating the beauty of the National Park. At only 150 square miles, the Park maybe be considered small, however, its fragile ecosystem hosts an array of species including mammals and birds. After this, you will be taken back to the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Overnight Stay at the Lodge

Day 10: Game spotting - Amboseli National Park

Breakfast to start your day, then an amazing drive through the National Park with the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa at 19,341 feet high. Today, you will be on the lookout for some of the world's most elusive species of animals in the wild including the enormous elephants, Cape Buffalo, Zebras, wild coyotes, and more! Time then to return to the Lodge to cool off a little, and enjoy lunch before heading back out to spot more of these beautiful creatures. Home then to the Lodge for another overnight stay. Day 11: Lake Elementaita

Today after breakfast you will be driven to Elementaita stopping en route at Nairobi for lunch. After this, continue on in the late afternoon to stay at Elementaita Serena Camp with time to relax. Overnight stay in Elementaita

Day 12: Lake Nakuru National Park

Start your day with breakfast, then look forward to a full day at Lake Nakuru National Park. This Park is the place to be for bird watching as it is renowned for its huge mass of Flamingos in their thousands which leave the lake with a pink shimmering glow. A break for Lunch at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge with the afternoon on a further game viewing drive. Overnight at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge.

Day 13: Maasai Mara National Reserve

Breakfast to start your day, then another mid-morning chance for viewing the local wildlife in Nakuru. Later in the day, you will to the most famous Game Reserve Maasai Mara known to be the best for spotting wildlife. You will arrive around 1600 hours to begin your chance to spot the best incredible wildlife in Africa. After this, you will be transferred to your Camp for dinner and an overnight stay. The Maasai Mara is the largest and most visited game reserve in Africa which proved to be the perfect location for the film “Out of Africa”. The top five animals which are most popular for spotting especially if you are there for the annual migration in their millions are wildebeests, zebras, and the gazelles from the Serengeti plains that move across the Tanzania border and the Mara river to reach Maasai Mara grazing fields from late June. The Masaai Mara also is a haven for birdlife with roughly four hundred and fifty-two species being recorded. Overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge

Another varied Safari in Maasai Mara

Your morning starts with some tasty muffins and coffee before heading out on the second day of adventure. The areas of the Maasai Mara vary in places where different creatures can be spotted so there are always hidden surprises. Each game drive is distinct, and since the camps are small, the drives can be tailored to the group's preferences. Your driver and Guide can always stop for an hour or so if you come across a lioness on a hunt to get you excited! Return then to the lodge for a late brunch; then keep a lookout for a local game or just read or relax for a while. After lunch and a siesta, set off on your late afternoon game drive. At the end of the drive, you'll stop for a drink and watch nightfall over

Day 15: Final Departure – Fly Back Home

After breakfast at the Camp, say a heartfelt farewell to the amazing Maasai Mara as you set off on your journey back to Nairobi through the Great Rift Valley passing the dormant Volcano, known as Mount Longonot, and the Lakes Elementaita and Naivasha on the way. Keep an eye out for herds of giraffes and gazelles and head up the escarpment. You will arrive in Kenya's bustling capital city Nairobi in the early afternoon where you will be transferred to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight back home.
