Royal Suite - The Royal Suite is a stunning accommodation that covers a vast 2420 square feet (225 square metres). It has a king-size bedroom, an en suite marble bathroom, a powder room, a plush living room and a fully equipped pantry. The twenty foot long private pool is accessed through the magnificent glass doors of the living room. Additional features are:

Carved out oak wood and rich, brown marble, the bathroom in this suite features a large, sunken marble bathtub and separate, glass panelled shower with vari pressure settings.

Grand Suite with Private Pool - Each Grand Suite has exclusive access to a twenty foot long pool, furnished with comfortable sun loungers and wide parasols. Guests may enjoy swimming in privacy, or relaxing by the poolside with a drink, snack or meal served by our dedicated 24-hour in-room dining team.

Superior Deluxe Suite - Spanning a spacious 915 square feet (85 square metres), our Superior Deluxe Suites include a luxurious, king-size bedroom with a comfortable lounge area, a walk-in wardrobe and a gleaming marble bathroom. Fitted with floor-to-ceiling windows, all spaces have fantastic natural views and are bright with natural light.

Deluxe Suite - Our Deluxe Suites are furnished with a king size bed and plump, pillow topped mattress, stylish cane chairs and a comfortable two-seater sofa. The personal bar is secreted inside a unique wooden dresser of Egyptian design, while bespoke brass furnishings and papyrus lamps add ancient charm.

    Restaurants and Bar: *

The Restaurant - The Restaurant spans a chic, indoor seating area, an undercover terrace flanked by classical columns, and an open air courtyard, at whose heart is a magnificent eight-point star.White linen tables sit beside windows, under arches, and afford  of the hotel’s manicured lawns and the Red Sea. Live music envelopes the restaurant every evening.The Restaurant serves international cuisine and is open for breakfast and dinner throughout the year.

Pergola - The Pergola is a relaxed, poolside dining space that features a sheltered, dome structure with smart columns adorned with Islamic eight-point stars, and a wooden framed dining space, closer to the beach and sea breezes.Furnished with chic marble tables, carved wooden chairs and plush cushions, the Pergola is a wonderful space to sit and relax after swimming or diving.The Pergola is open from lunch until sunset, and serves cuisine from the Mediterranean and Far East.

Zafran - Zaafran is a stylish, fine dining space ornamented with sky blue columns and a silver-leaf ceiling dotted with tiny spotlights that glitter like stars. Intimate, white linen tables set with silver plates and blue glasses sparkle beside candles, while arched windows present romantic views of the star-lit courtyard. Zaafran is entertained with soft, live, traditional music every evening. The menu features authentic Indian fine cuisine and is open for dinner.

The Bar - The Bar features an exquisite indoor space rich with Spanish marble and polished wood, and an outside, canopied area caressed by the evening breeze. For guests’ entertainment, chess, backgammon sets and an elegant piano wait to be played.Sitting under ambient lamplight, guests can savour a signature Martini, classic cocktail, iced tea, flavoured shisha or Cuban cigar, while enjoying views of the courtyard and pool.

 

Here in Egypt, the local currency is known as the Egyptian Pound. It can often be difficult to get smaller notes so it is advisable when you can, to change 200, 100 and 50 notes when you can to either 5, 10, or 20 Pound notes. The Hotel reception will offer you an exchange service and their will be a small commission charge on changing currencies ( they will take British Pounds, US Dollars and Euros).There is an ATM machine at the Hotel and ATM’s and banks in Hurghada and all around the various districts locally all close by to the Hotel which will also take a small charge for using the machine overseas.
 

There is not a lot of local transport in Sahl Hasheesh and taxis will need to be ordered in advanced from Reception at the Hotel.Transport in and around Hurghada is usually by local street Taxis but not on always on the meter,so set a reasonable fare before getting in. Memphis Tours provides an excellent transport service with spacious vehicles taking you to Hurghada and other destinations to visit all sights and attractions with tours available and  further afield. 

 

 

Hurghada Airport lies approximately 25 minutes (19km)from the Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh Hotel and hosts internal (domestic) flights within Egypt along with Scheduled and Charter flights arriving from other worldwide destinations. if you have not already booked your transfer from the Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh Hotel to the Airport (arrival and and return), then working with the Hotel, Memphis Tours can arrange the transport for you in our modern air conditioned vehicles with a representative to assist you on arrival and return to and from the Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh Hotel.
