You will be traveling to the Corinth Canal today, where you will have the opportunity to take some pictures and admire this well-known waterway that links the Aegean Sea and the Gulf of Corinth. Because of this outstanding engineering achievement, ships no longer need to travel more than 400 km across the Peloponnese peninsula to reach the Ionian Sea. Your Greece Tour will continue until you arrive at the Theater of Epidaurus, known worldwide for its excellent acoustics and is still used for various performances, particularly during the summer. During your visit, you will also spend time at the Museum of Asclepius, dedicated to the father of modern medicine, before heading to the city of Nafplio, which served as the first capital of the current Greek state. As part of the journey, you will also go to Mycenae, where you will see the Prehistoric Acropolis, the Lions Gate, and the tomb of "Agamemnon". Later in the day, you will travel through the central part of the Peloponnese and reach the city of Olympia in the early evening, where you will check in at your hotel, have dinner, and rest.

Day 3: Olympia to Delphi
You will go to the historic Olympic stadium in the morning, where the inaugural games took place around 776 BC. Given the widespread Greek city involvement and the hostilities that were postponed throughout the festivities, the significance of these games was generally acknowledged. In all of Tours of Greece, the Olympiad was acknowledged as the only event that could be considered chronological and served as a general representation of the four-year gap between the two events. A site to worship Zeus, the most prominent of the gods, Olympia was also the most significant temple in Ancient Greece. One of the seven wonders of the ancient world was the enormous sculpture Phidias
created out of gold and ivory. You will continue your journey via the Rio-Antirion suspension bridge, a contemporary engineering marvel, till you arrive at your destination after seeing the Museum of Olympia. When you get to Delphi, you will enjoy dinner and well-deserved relaxation.
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Day 4: Delphi to Kalambaka
After breakfast, your Greece Tour continues as you will visit the archeological site of Delphi in the morning after breakfast. Delphi is a UNESCO World Heritage site and the "navel" of the ancient world. Here was where the famed Oracle of Delphi, a guide for kings and travelers, could be located. Visit the Museum, where you may see the "Bronze Charioteer" a magnificent masterpiece of Greek art. After your tour of Delphi, you will leave the mountain's slopes and move into the plains of Thessaly, where the city of Kalambaka is situated. After arriving in the town of Kalambaka, you will have dinner and get some rest.

You'll go to Meteora first thing in the morning; a place UNESCO designated a World Heritage Site in 1988. The perpetual monasteries suspended or "Meteora" on top of the enormous rocks are a fascinating presence in this enigmatic region along with the natural splendor. Only six are in use at the moment, five for the male monastic community and one for the female. You'll make a quick detour in Thermopylae on the way back to Athens to visit the statue of Spartan King Leonidas, who is well-known for leading the war against the Persians in 480 BC. You'll arrive in Athens in the late afternoon, and we'll drive you to your hotel then. Take note: Sleeveless garments and shorts that are higher than the knee are not permitted inside monasteries. If guests do not have such attire to cover themselves with, skirts, shawls, and pants are supplied at the Monasteries' entrance.
