Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca - Transfer to Rabat

Upon arriving in Casablanca, you will be met by a driver guide who will be waiting for you outside of gate 2 at the airport. Then you will be taken on a drive to Rabat, the main city of Morocco. Subsequently, the driver will bring you to the hotel you will be staying at for the night.

Day 2: Rabat - ChefChaouen

Start your Best Morocco Tour with a tasty breakfast at your hotel, then join your tour guide on a journey of exploration in the capital city of Morocco, Rabat. It was constructed by Abd Al-Mu’min of the Almohad dynasty as a fortress and was named Ribatu l-Fath, which means "stronghold of victory". Our guided tour in Rabat shall revolve around discovering its rich history, and will include visits to the Royal Palace, Chellah, Hassan Tower, and Kasbah Ouddaya. There shall be free time afterward to stroll around the souks and bazaars of the old medina, where you will find all kinds of merchandise, as well as traditional and modern leather shoes, Moroccan-style bags, and authentic Berber jewelry. Then, you will visit “Café Maure” at the bank of the Bouregrag river, where you can enjoy a Moroccan mint tea (optional) along with some traditional Moroccan treats like Kaab Ghazal and Ghariba. At the end of the tour, you will bid farewell to Rabat and head to Chefchaouen.

The more you know: Kaab Ghazal, a term originating in the Arabic language, is representative of the hoof of a deer, and is linked to Ghariba and Mint Tea as signs of warm Moroccan hospitality.

Day 3: ChefChaouen - Fez

After breakfast, start your tour of Chefchaouen, Morocco's "Blue Pearl". This city is famous for its blue-colored houses, believed to have originated from Jewish traditions that associate the color blue with the sky, heaven, and God. This unique feature gives the city a charming and relaxing atmosphere. During your tour, you will visit Kasbah Ali Ben Rachid Plaza Uta el-Hammam and explore the city. The day will end at Fez, the Capital of Science and Knowledge. Along the way, you will make stops at Volubilis and Meknes. Volubilis is an archeological site listed as a worldwide heritage site by UNESCO, where you can walk around the remains of the Roman and Berber cultures that once occupied it. Then, you will continue your trip to the Imperial City of Meknes. One of Morocco's lesser-visited. It was designed to be the "Versailles of Morocco" by Moulay Ismail.

Day 4: Fez Exploration day

Kick off the 4th day of your Best Morocco Tour with a delicious breakfast, then embark on a guided tour of Fez, which was once the capital of the kingdom prior to 1912. Your exploration will mainly focus on the Medina, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was established in the 9th century. It is also home to the oldest university in the world. Your local guide will accompany you to various significant sites such as Bou-Inania and Attarin Medersa, the tanners, Ess-Seffarine Square, Moulay Idris's tomb, El-Nejjarine square, the cabinet makers' souk, and the Hebrew district 'Mellah'. Additionally, a pottery workshop with a pottery master is scheduled for a complete Moroccan experience. After having lunch at a local restaurant, you can either head back to your hotel or explore the narrow alleys of the old town independently. Fez is a city full of treasures, and therefore, it is recommended to spend the day discovering it.

The more you know: Each October, Fez hosted one of the world's largest and most well-known Sufi festivals, with performers from all over the world.

Day 5: Fez - Ifrane - Midelt - Erfoud - Merzouga

Our journey to Erfoud will commence after breakfast via Ifran and Midelt. Erfoud is a renowned destination for archeologists because of the ancient fossils found there. Upon arrival, we will embark on an exciting adventure driving through the deserted sand dunes using 4-wheel vehicles. We will also witness the stunning sunset while en route to the Merzouga camp for the night.

The more you know: Erfoud is well known for "Medfouna" which translates to buried. It's a meat-filled Berber calzone. Do not pass it up! Take a plane back home.

Day 6: Merzouga - Erfoud - Ouarzazate

To witness the sunrise over the dunes on a camel's back, it's recommended to wake up early. Subsequently, travel between Erfoud and Ouarzazate with a driver who speaks English. During the journey, there will be a halt at the Todra Gorge, which is situated towards the southwest of Tinerhir, approximately 110 km (65 miles) away from Ouarzazate. After capturing some breathtaking pictures, the drive will continue towards Ouarzazate, but before reaching there, a stop will be made at Skoura, an oasis in Morocco known for its beauty. Initially, it might appear as a thin, long oasis from the road, but upon exploring, one can discover its vastness and grandeur.

Day 7: Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech

In the morning, meet your driver guide outside the hotel after having breakfast. Although we may not often use phrases like "Lights, Camera, Action!" or "Rolling picture" or "CUT," today you will have the opportunity to experience them at the Atlas studios, which produced popular movies and television shows like the Mummy, Gladiator, Asterix and Obelicx, and Game of Thrones. Take advantage of this exciting opportunity. During the journey, enjoy the stunning Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass and Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Centre. When you arrive in Marrakech, take some time to explore or relax at your hotel.

Day 8: Marrakech Tour

Your Best Morocco Tour commences; today is your opportunity to experience Marrakech, a city that many dreams of visiting. Make the most of your time here starting with breakfast, followed by a guided city tour led by a local guide and driver. Our first stop will be at Majorelle Garden, named after the renowned French painter Jacques Majorelle. The garden is a masterpiece that displays his dedication and passion. Next, we will visit Menara, which translates to "lighthouse" in Arabic but is actually a pavilion surrounded by a basin, orchards, and olive groves. The tour will then take us to the Koutobia Mosque and the Jewish quarter, known as Mallah. After lunch at a local restaurant, the tour concludes with a carriage ride, or "Koutchi," to Jamaa El Fnaa.

The more you know: Marrakesh is known as "the land of the seven men," referring to religious and Sufi scholars who gave their lives for knowledge and worship.

Day 9:  Marrakech - Casablanca

Before heading to Casablanca, have a delightful breakfast at your hotel. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to tour the corniche, Habous quarters, and the Royal Palace's exterior.
