Day 1: Arrive Riyadh

Upon arrival, you will be met and assisted by the Memphis Tours team, then you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Riyadh for 2 nights.

Day 2: Riyadh Day Tour

Start your day with a scrumptious breakfast before embarking on an exciting journey to Diriyah, an ancient site of great historical significance situated just outside of Riyadh. Prepare to immerse yourself in the wonders of this UNESCO-listed treasure, widely regarded as the birthplace of Saudi Arabia's initial state. Once a vibrant desert metropolis, its mud-brick fortifications proudly bear witness to its illustrious past as a thriving center for commerce and cultural exchange. In 1745, this extraordinary city was officially proclaimed as the capital, thereby laying the groundwork for the eventual unification of Saudi Arabia. Afterward, make your way to Masmak Fort in Riyadh's historic quarter. Constructed during Abdullah bin Rashid's reign in 1895 AD, this fortress showcases impressive architecture and offers insights into Riyadh's past. Next on your itinerary is Dirah Souq, renowned for its diverse range of colorful textiles such as silk and luxurious pashminas. Immerse yourself in this vibrant market before pausing for a delightful lunch break. In the afternoon, allow yourself to be guided through the National Museum - an absolute national treasure recognized as a World Heritage Site. With eight galleries dedicated to Arabian history spanning from cosmic creation tales to contemporary times; you will gain comprehensive knowledge about this captivating region. Conclude your day by visiting Murabba Palace built by King Abdul Aziz in 1937 AD. This beautiful family dwelling was constructed using locally sourced materials; it consists of numerous small buildings arranged around spacious courtyards. Overnight in Riyadh.

Day 3: Flight from Riyadh to AlUla

Transfer to the airport for your flight to AlUla, upon arrival, you will explore the recognized World Heritage Site of Madain Saleh. This ancient city was once known as "Al Hegra" and served as an important stop along a highly lucrative trade route during ancient times. Madain Saleh is spread across an expansive area of 2000 square meters and is filled with numerous remnants and tombs that have been carved into rocks. As you explore, be sure not to miss out on visiting significant sites such as the Nabatean Well, Qasr Al Bint, Diwan Tomb, Al Farid Palace, and even the well-preserved railway station. During your tour of Madain Saleh, take some time to enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the local restaurants. If time allows, consider making your way toward Harrat Uairedh. Located at one of the highest points in town; this place offers breathtaking panoramic views of its surrounding landscapes. Afterward returning from Harrat Uairedh's scenic viewpoint excursion back to AlUla for overnight.

Day 4: Al Ula Tours

After a delicious breakfast, embark on an adventure to discover the marvels of the World Heritage sites of Dadan and Jabal Ikmah. Jabal Ikmah often likened to an expansive open-air library, boasts the highest concentration and most diverse collection of inscriptions found in AlUla. Meanwhile, Dadan served as the capital for both the Dadan and Lihyan kingdoms. This city constructed from stone holds a rich history that spans from the 9th century BCE to the 8th century BCE. Admire over ten tombs meticulously carved into crimson-red cliffs, with one particularly renowned burial ground known as 'Lion Tombs'. These impressive lion sculptures signify resting places for esteemed members of society. After immersing yourself in mountainous wonders, journey to Old Town where you can delve into Al-Ula's captivating history while leisurely strolling through its lush oasis and local farms. Once rejuvenated by this heartfelt encounter, continue your adventure toward the iconic 'Elephant Rock', an awe-inspiring natural formation that truly captures the imagination. Return to your hotel.

Day 5: AlUla- Tabuk

Check out from the hotel then start your road trip and adventure to Tabuk (360km drive plus 30-minute stop). Your will visit Deise Valley ( Wadi Deise ), an enchanting mountainous expanse that showcases the breathtaking natural beauty of Saudi Arabia. Nestled 400 meters above sea level, this mesmerizing valley is aptly named Al Disah or "The Valley of Palm Trees," owing to the presence of majestic sandstone cliffs that encircle its verdant floor, inviting exploration and adventure. As you traverse through the valley, be prepared for exciting river crossings amidst lush vegetation. Keep your eyes peeled for wandering camels and witness local farmers expertly guiding their goats from one idyllic spot to another. Back to your Hotel.

Day 6: Tabuk Desert tours

After breakfast, your journey continues as you visit the Hisma desert in Tabuk, a stunning landscape with a diverse range of picturesque scenery and brimming with an extraordinary traditional heritage. Its majestic mountains stretch all the way to Jordan's Wadi Rum. Among its renowned peaks are Bajdah, Al-Zeitah, Alqan, and Al-Lowz. Once inhabited by the Nabataeans, the Hisma desert served as an important thoroughfare for pilgrims and merchants. Our next stop takes us to Jabal Al Lawz, which means "Almond Mountain" in Arabic. Towering at an impressive height of 2,549 meters, it proudly claims its position as the tallest mountain in Tabuk Province. What sets this majestic peak apart is its unique ability to receive snowfall almost every year - creating an enchanting winter wonderland that beckons adventurers for exhilarating hikes during colder months. Steeped in religious significance according to numerous esteemed scholars and historians alike - not forgetting the compelling Jabal al Lawz documentary - this sacred mountain holds immense importance.

Day 7: Flight to Jeddah

Leisure time in Tabuk then transfer from your hotel in Tabuk for a flight to Jeddah.

Day 8: Jeddah/Madinah/Jeddah

After breakfast, transfer to Jeddah train station for an unforgettable journey on the High-Speed seating train to Madinah. (trip takes around 02hrs – with max. speed of 300 KM/H). Your Tour guide will meet and accompany you on a captivating day tour to explore the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet's Biography and Islamic Civilization. Walk along Qiba Street, which serves as a connecting link between two important mosques - the Holy Mosque and Qiba Mosque. Enchanting sights await you at Souq Taiba, where vibrant stalls offer an array of intriguing products. Indulge in a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. As your day draws to a close, board the train once again for your return journey back to Jeddah.

Please note that access to these sacred sites is restricted to Muslims only; however, non-Muslims can admire their beauty from the outside.

Day 9: Jeddah Tour

Your captivating journey this morning begins with the Tayebat Museum, a privately owned collection that ranges from pre-Islamic treasures to exquisite manuscripts and ancient weaponry. Immerse yourself in the world of stunning furniture, delicate pottery, and traditional Saudi attire that reflects vibrant culture and traditions. Then make your way to Jeddah Open Museum, an expansive collection nestled in a picturesque area along the new corniche. Prepare to be enchanted by a unique sight as you encounter the 'floating mosque,' seemingly drifting on the shimmering surface of water glistening in the sunlight. Take a moment to absorb breathtaking panoramic views over the Red Sea before proceeding with your exploration. Your next stop is King Fahd's Fountain or commonly known as Jeddah Fountain—a true marvel standing tall as one of its kind globally. It propels saltwater from its location in the Red Sea up into the sky at astonishing speeds exceeding 300 kilometers per hour while reaching heights up to 300 meters. As your adventure unfolds further, immerse yourself in Jeddah's historic charm found within Al-Balad (Old Town). Stroll through streets adorned with magnificent houses constructed from coral intricately reinforced by wooden beams—a testament to architectural brilliance dating back centuries ago. Among these architectural wonders lies the Nasif House—an epitome of beauty crafted in 1850 by none other than the Nasif Family—one of Jeddah's most influential trading families throughout history. Overnight in Jeddah.

  • Prices: 

Per Person in Sterling Per Tour and can be paid in US$ or Euros by credit card via a secure payment system with no extra surcharge. The prices are valid until 30th April 2025 except during Christmas, New Year and Easter Holidays. Single is applied for those coming with others and prefer single occupancy and is not valid for Solo travellers.

 

  • Notes: 

Children's policy is applied to children who share rooms with their parents. If your tour package includes airfare then extra charges for your children may apply.

 

  • Payment:

Early Reservations are advised to avoid disappointment in securing your spaces. Booking is secured upon receipt of a 25% deposit. During the Christmas holidays, packages require a deposit of 50%. forming part of your final payment. Packages and vacations which include International flights will require the full flight cost and deposit (25% or 50%) due to the regulations of the Airlines that require full payment

 

  • Transportation:

Transport for all tours included: domestic flights, trains, and air-conditioned vehicles by road. Wi-Fi, Bottled water, and an ice box are all included whilst traveling by road. All are new vehicles with the latest design and technology.

 

  • Tour Guides:

Are available to assist you with transfers to and from Airports, and Hotels assisting at Airports with visas, tickets, and luggage.
