Note: The Egyptian Railway Authority has designed and equipped sleeper trains quite comfortable according to Egyptian standards. They take about 14 hours from Cairo to Aswan and about 11 hours from Luxor to Cairo. Nevertheless, if you do not enjoy long journeys, you can take an internal flight with an additional $ 165 per person.

Day 1: Arrive Cairo ‘Welcome to Egypt’
Day 2: Cairo Tours - Sleeper Train to Aswan
Check-out after breakfast where your private Tour Guide will accompany you to your first pitstop in Cairo of your Egypt Budget Tour to visit the famous Pyramids in the area. Kicking off your Cairo Day tour with the famous Giza Plateau to visit the only remaining wonder from the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World - the Great Pyramid of Khufu (called Cheops by the Ancient Greeks). Also on the plateau are the pyramids of Khafre (Chephren) and the smallest Pyramid Menkaure (Mykerinos). The plateau is as famous for its mysterious structure, the Sphinx, as it is for the Pyramids, where you will visit the Valley Temple. Then head to The New Grand Egyptian Museum, alternatively called the Giza Museum, which is an archaeological treasure trove in Giza, Egypt, approximately 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from the renowned Giza pyramid complex. The GEM Complex is granting restricted entry to evaluate site preparedness and visitor experiences before its official opening. At present, access is confined to the Main Galleries, Grand Hall, Grand Staircase, commercial zone, and outdoor garden areas. Finally, we conclude the day with dinner during an overnight trip to Aswan onboard the Sleeper Train.
Please Note: There is an additional charge for entering the Pyramids. Please speak with your tour guide should you wish to purchase a ticket to enter one of these sites.
Day 3: Aswan Nile Cruise Tours
Day 4: Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples
In the afternoon, you will continue your Egypt Budget Tours by sailing down the Nile to visit the huge Ptolemaic Temple of Horus at Edfu, which is the most complete and best-preserved of Egyptian Temples, consisting of many columns, halls, chambers, and chapels. Two statues of Horus flank the twin-towered entrance gate one of the truly magnificent items inside is an interesting inscription listing the titles of books (scrolls) held in the library. Finally, you will head back to your Nile cruise for dinner, and refreshing afternoon tea served on the cruise’s sundeck with an overnight stay onboard the Nile cruise concluding this day of your Egypt Vacation.
Day 5: Luxor Nile Cruise Tours
- Optional Sound and Light show at the Temple of Karnak. (Highly recommended).

- Prices:
Per Person in Sterling Per Tour and can be paid in US$ or Euros by credit card via a secure payment system with no extra surcharge. Current prices are valid until September 30, 2025. excluding Easter and Christmas Holidays.
- Children Policy:
Up to 2 years: FREE
Age from 2 and below 6 years: 25% of adult price
Age from 6 up to 11 years: 50% of adult price
Ages 12 and Up: adult price.
- Notes:
Children's policy is applied to children who share rooms with their parents. If your tour package includes airfare then extra charges for your children may apply.
- Payment:
Early Reservations are advised to avoid disappointment in securing your spaces. Booking is secured upon receipt of a 25% deposit. During the Christmas holidays, packages require a deposit of 50%. forming part of your final payment. Packages and vacations which include International flights will require the full flight cost and deposit (25% or 50%) due to the regulations of the Airlines that require full payment
- Transportation:
Transport for all tours included: domestic flights, trains, and air-conditioned vehicles by road. Wi-Fi, Bottled water and an ice box are all included whilst travelling by road. All are new vehicles with the latest design and technology.
- Tour Guides:
Are available to assist you with transfers to and from Airports, and Hotels assisting at Airports with visas, tickets, and luggage. All tours of the sites in Egypt include the constant guidance of a highly qualified Egyptologist Tour Guide.
