Day 1: Arrive Cairo ‘Welcome to Egypt’

Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met by your Memphis Tours Representative who will accompany you to your hotel in Cairo for check-in.

Day 2: Pyramids and Sakkara Tours

Start your day with a scrumptious and nutritious breakfast at Zeeyara, an exquisite restaurant in Cairo that specializes in authentic Egyptian cuisine, all while enjoying the breathtaking views of the city from the rooftop of the luxurious Hotel Le Riad de Charme. Your personal guide will then accompany you to the Giza Plateau to witness one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the magnificent Great Pyramids of Giza. Take a leisurely stroll around the Plateau, or opt for a camel ride to the iconic Sphinx and the Valley Temple. After exploring the Pyramids, indulge in a delectable lunch at an authentic Egyptian restaurant. Your journey continues as you head towards the Sakkara district to visit the Sakkara Complex, where you'll get a glimpse of the first-ever pyramid built, the Djoser Pyramid.

Pick you up from your hotel in Cairo by air-conditioned minibus where you will be accompanied by your personal Egyptologist Tour Guide to visit the famous Giza Plateau, home of Egypt’s greatest attractions the Great Pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World including the Great Pyramid of Cheops, Middle Pyramids of Chephren smallest Pyramid of Mykerinos and The Mysterious Sphinx, the Father of Terror to the ancient Pharaohs.The tour includes a visit to the Valley Temple facing the great Sphinx. On the way you will have Lunch, then enjoy a visit to the world-renowned Museum of Egyptian Antiques built in neo-classical style designed by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon which exhibits a collection now of over 120000 masterpieces ranging from Pre-Dynastic era, Pharaonic era to the Greco-Roman period in Egypt, learn and discover the great Egyptian civilization and art of mummification in ancient Egypt. Moving on to visit the Christian heritage in Coptic Cairo including some of the early religious monuments of the city such as the Hanging Church or the Suspended Church, this Basilica Church was named for its location on top of the south gate of the Fortress of Babylon The Church became the centre of the Christian Church of Egypt Afterwards an enjoyable afternoon of shopping at the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaar and Old Market in Cairo.Finally back to the Hotel in Cairo for a relaxing evening.

Day 3: Cairo Museums and Flying to Luxor

Experience the best of Egypt with a scrumptious breakfast at Zeeyara restaurant, situated on the rooftop of your hotel. Start your day by visiting The New Grand Egyptian Museum, alternatively called the Giza Museum, which is an archaeological treasure trove in Giza, Egypt, approximately 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from the renowned Giza pyramid complex. The GEM Complex is granting restricted entry to evaluate site preparedness and visitor experiences before its official opening. At present, access is confined to the Main Galleries, Grand Hall, Grand Staircase, commercial zone, and outdoor garden areas. After lunch, head to the Egyptian Museum, located in the heart of Downtown Cairo, overlooking the iconic Tahrir Square. Marvel at the stunning ancient Egyptian artifacts and treasures on display. After you visit Cairo, it's time to move on to the dazzling city of Luxor. Your tour manager will accompany you to Cairo International Airport for your flight to Luxor. Once you arrive in Luxor, you'll be greeted and escorted to your hotel in a luxurious, air-conditioned vehicle.

Day 4: Embarkation and Sightseeing in Luxor

To make the most of your day, start early by checking out of your hotel and exploring the ancient city of Luxor. Your first stop will be the impressive Temple of Karnak and the iconic the Valley of the Kings, known for its stunning collection of Pharaonic royalty's elaborate tombs. At noon, head to the West Bank to begin your luxurious dahabiya journey along the Nile River. Step aboard the Nebyt Dahabiya and savor a freshly prepared lunch while gently sailing to Esna. As you continue your journey, delight in a scrumptious dinner while surrounded by the calm and serene waters of the Nile.

Day 5: Esna - El Kab – Edfu

Begin your day with an early morning sail through the Esna Lock while savoring a delectable breakfast on your Dahabiya. Surround yourself with stunning views as you head towards El Kab village, where you will visit the ancient El Kab Temple. Explore the hidden beauty of the majestic temples, walls, and rock-cut tombs from the New Kingdom period. Take a leisurely walk back to your Dahabiya, and appreciate the picturesque village, teeming with mud-brick houses. While sailing to Edfu, enjoy a delicious lunch on board. Upon arrival, explore the well-preserved Edfu Temple, the Temple of Horus, one of the best of the Greco-Roman era, dedicated to the falcon god Horus. Marvel at the two magnificent granite statues of Horus towering over the entrance as you enter. Experience the charm of Upper Egypt's rural life as you take a horse-drawn carriage ride to and from the temple. Pass through the unhurried life of local farmers and fishermen. After returning to your Dahabiya, set sail again through the lush, fertile landscapes adorned with banana and date palm trees. As the sun sets, drop anchor near Sheikh Rehan Island, where you can enjoy a sumptuous dinner in a charming ambiance.

Day 6: Gebel El-Silsila

Experience a delectable breakfast onboard your luxurious dahabiya as you sail towards Gebel Silsela, today's destination. Once you arrive at the historic quarries of Silsela, explore the mystical rock-cut Temple of Hormoheb and hike to the top of Silsela Mountain for a breathtaking view. Return to your dahabiya for a serene sail to Fawaza Island while relishing a delicious lunch. Savor some tea on the sun deck while enjoying the mesmerizing sunset view and indulge in a mouth-watering dinner onboard. As the day winds down, relish a scrumptious BBQ dinner at the edge of Al Bashir Island, located next to Kom Ombo.

Day 7: Sailing to Kom Ombo

As you sail towards Kom Ombo, treat yourself to a delicious breakfast on board. Upon arrival, take a stroll through the charming town and mingle with the friendly locals. Finally, you will reach the unique Kom Ombo temple, which boasts two identical entrances, hypostyle halls, and sanctuaries. Don't miss the chance to explore the splendid temple of Haroeris and Sobek, which is the only double temple in Egypt. Once you have finished your tour, return to your dahabiya and continue your journey toward Aswan. You can enjoy a delectable lunch and dinner on board while taking in the colorful scenery of Aswan.

Day 8: Final Departure

Today is the final day of your memorable journey on the Nile. Savor your last delightful breakfast on board before disembarking. You will then be transferred to Aswan Airport where you will catch your flight back to Cairo to fly back home, marking the end of your trip.

Per Person in Sterling Per Tour and can be paid in US$ or Euros by credit card via a secure payment system with no extra surcharge. Current prices are valid until September 30, 2025. excluding Easter and Christmas Holidays.

 

  • Children Policy:

Up to 2 years: FREE

Age from 2 and below 6 years: 25% of adult price

Age from 6 up to 11 years: 50% of adult price

Ages 12 and Up: adult price.

 

  • Notes: 

Children's policy is applied to children who share rooms with their parents. If your tour package includes airfare then extra charges for your children may apply.

 

  • Payment:

Early Reservations are advised to avoid disappointment in securing your spaces. Booking is secured upon receipt of a 25% deposit. During the Christmas holidays, packages require a deposit of 50%. forming part of your final payment. Packages and vacations which include International flights will require the full flight cost and deposit (25% or 50%) due to the regulations of the Airlines that require full payment

 

  • Transportation:

Transport for all tours included: domestic flights, trains, and air-conditioned vehicles by road. Wi-Fi, Bottled water and an ice box are all included whilst travelling by road. All are new vehicles with the latest design and technology.

 

  • Tour Guides:

Are available to assist you with transfers to and from Airports, and Hotels assisting at Airports with visas, tickets, and luggage. All tours of the sites in Egypt include the constant guidance of a highly qualified Egyptologist Tour Guide.
