Day 3 - Makkah to Mazarat

After having breakfast, you will witness some of the most significant events in the history of Islam. Our knowledgeable guide will lead you through the prophetic era by taking you to Jabal al Noor, also known as the Mountain of Light, where Prophet Muhammad first received the divine revelation. During this visit, you will learn about the hardships faced by early Muslims and their unwavering faith, even when they were forced to leave Makkah. Additionally, you will gain insights into the migration of the Prophet and the extraordinary events that took place at Jabal Thawr. Your exploration will then take you to Jabal Ar-Rahmah, or the Mount of Mercy, where Prophet Muhammad delivered his famous last sermon. This particular site holds immense significance during the Hajj pilgrimage. Furthermore, you will have the chance to visit Mina, often referred to as the City of Tents, where pilgrims emulate the actions of the Prophet by staying for several days and engaging in the ritual of pelting the three Jamarat, symbolizing the act of warding off evil spirits.

Day 4: Makkah to Medinah

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel before heading to the train station for a high-speed train ride from Makkah to Medinah. Once you arrive in Medinah, our friendly representative will greet you and accompany you to your hotel. Medinah, the second most sacred city, will instantly captivate you and make you feel a deep connection. The city is centered around Al Masjid al Nabawi, also known as the Prophet's Mosque, a magnificent structure built by Prophet Muhammad himself and serves as his final resting place.

Day 5: Medinah to Mazarat

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, your visit to Mendinah Mazarat (Visitation) will begin with a captivating exploration of the very first mosque built in Medinah, known as "Masjid Quba." It holds great historical significance as it was here that Prophet Muhammad himself laid the foundation stone. Another noteworthy stop is the Masjid Qiblatain, known as the Mosque of Two Qiblas. This mosque holds a unique distinction as the direction of prayer (qiblah) changed from Masjid Al Aqsa in Jerusalem to Masjid Al Haram in Makkah, leading the companions to pray in two different directions.

Continuing our journey, we will make our way to Mount Uhud, which witnessed a momentous battle led by Prophet Muhammad and his Muslim forces against the troops from Makkah. Rising majestically to an impressive height of 3,500 feet, this mountain offers an opportunity to climb and gain a better vantage point to observe the historic battlefield. Just nearby lies the solemn Uhud Martyrs Cemetery, where 85 valiant Muslim soldiers who laid down their lives in the battle are laid to rest. This sacred resting place serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made in the name of faith and honor.

Take a moment to admire the captivating "floating mosque" and King Fahd's Fountain, the tallest of its kind globally, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Red Sea. As your journey unfolds, immerse yourself in Jeddah's rich heritage by exploring Al-Balad's traditional architecture, including the historic Nasif House built by the influential Nasif Family back in the 1850s.
