Day 1: Arrival Istanbul

On arrival in Turkey, you will be greeted by our Memphis Tours assistant and then transferred to your Hotel to relax and enjoy an overnight stay in Istanbul. (Meet our driver at Gate Number 9)

Day 2: Istanbul City Tour

Breakfast at your Hotel is then greeted by our Tour Guide to escort you on an exciting tour of the this ancient City of Istanbul. The first stop will be the notable Hagia Sophia, the original church of Emperor Constantine dating back as far as the fourth Century. With the arrival of the Ottomans in the fifteenth century, the church was converted into a sacred Mosque, now a unique heritage site. There are still ancient scriptures from the Christian period within its walls. Your next stop will be the renowned Topkapi Palace, a stunning home and reminder of Ottoman power and inhabited from 1478 to 1856, a reminder of the enduring power of the Ottomans and the residence of the great Sultans. The palace has a unique structure and hosts various kiosks and gardens all located in the now historic area of the City with an entrance known as ‘The Horn of Gold’. Moving on to the visually unmistakable and gigantic Blue Mosque, the focal point of Istanbul and the main reason why people from across the globe come here. With its impressive six minarets, unique blue Iznik tiles throughout the interior, and the sheer enormity of the infrastructure, it is a memory that will live forever in you. Next will be yet another different time in the ancient past of this City, that of the conquering Romans who built a Hippodrome to host its spectacular chariot races, a form of important entertainment during these times. The last stop today will be to the colorful and exotic smells of the Grand Bazaar where you will get some free time to explore for yourselves. You will finally be transferred back to your Hotel in Istanbul for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Bosphorus Day Tour

Lose yourself in the intoxicating tapestry of Istanbul, where the whispers of empires past mingle with the vibrant pulse of modern Turkey. As dawn breaks, lose yourself in the labyrinthine alleys of the Grand Bazaar, a 15th-century marvel where the art of haggling becomes a dance of smiles and the aroma of Turkish coffee hangs thick in the air. Next, we will board a public boat for a fascinating cruise along the Bosphorus Bridge, the waters that divide two continents. During the journey, we will enjoy spectacular panoramic views of palaces and fortresses adorning both shores, including the majestic Dolmabahçe Palace, the elegant Çırağan Palace, and the impressive Rumeli Fortress, among other historical landmarks. We will then continue to the historic neighborhoods of Fener and Balat, perfect for wandering through their romantic cobblestone streets. Here, you’ll find charming themed cafés and have the chance to take photos of the famous colorful houses. This area is well-known as a filming location for many Turkish TV series, offering treasures full of history and glimpses into everyday Turkish life. We will visit from outside the magnificent Bulgarian Orthodox Church of St. Stephen, made entirely of cast iron. During the tour, we’ll also see the Church of the Orthodox Patriarchate in the Balat district. We will end our day at the famous Pierre Loti Café, a legendary spot once favored by the French writer Pierre Loti, offering stunning views of the Golden Horn. Transfer to your hotel.

Day 4: Flight from Istanbul & Cappadocia day tour 

After an early checkout, you will be picked up from your hotel in Istanbul to embark on your flight to Kayseri Airport. Continuing your Istanbul & Cappadocia tour we will visit the famous “Devrent Valley and “Pasabagi” (or Monk`s Valley). After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant in Avanos, a town on the banks of the Kizilirmak Red River, we will see some of the world-famous Turkish Handicrafts. In the afternoon we will visit Göreme's Open Air Museum and Uchisar Rock Castle. We will finalize the tour with a visit to the Underground City of Kaymakli, which is one of the best-preserved and deep subterranean towns in the region. Then you visit Valle de Tres Bellas which has a stunning view over the city of Urgup and is also famous for its wine and vineyards where you can always take memorable photos. Finally, after visiting Goreme Panorama, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in and overnight stay in Cappadocia.

Day 5: Cappadocia / Flight to Istanbul 

Today after breakfast, the 5th day of your Turkey Travel Package begins, you will be collected from the Hotel for a full day of tours in South Cappadocia. Start your day As the morning sun paints the Red Valley in hues of flame, you will wander through its ethereal formations before the Valley of Love unveils its graceful fairy chimneys, each one a love letter written in stone. Delve into the mysterious depths of Serhatli (or Özkonak) underground city, where ancient whispers of early Christian refugees echo through time-worn corridors. After savoring local flavors that dance on your palate, lose yourself in Cavusin's panoramic vistas and Uchisar's majestic stone castle, each viewing a masterpiece framed by the azure Anatolian sky. Your adventure culminates in a mesmerizing display of Turkish craftsmanship, as skilled artisans breathe life into carpets, onyx, and jewelry before your eyes, their hands weaving centuries of tradition into each piece. As the day's golden light fades, you'll soar towards Istanbul, your heart full of Cappadocia's timeless magic and your camera brimming with memories as enduring as the treasures you've witnessed.

Day 6: Final Departure from Istanbul
