Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive Cairo ‘Welcome to Egypt’

Upon your arrival at the Cairo International Airport, your Tour Manager will be waiting to greet and assist you. You will then be transported to your hotel in a luxurious air-conditioned vehicle. Once you arrive at the hotel, your Tour Manager will help you with the check-in process and review your holiday itinerary with you. This will ensure that you are aware of the pick-up times for each tour. Spend the night in Cairo and consider taking an optional excursion to witness the spectacular Sound & Light Show on the Giza Plateau, near the breathtaking pyramids.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids and Sakkara

You will begin your day with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to Sakkara - the first pyramid ever built in Egypt. You will also see the Step Pyramid of King Djoser and the Teti Pyramid. After this, you will head to the Giza Plateau where you will witness the only remaining wonder from the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World - the Great Pyramids of Khufu (Cheops by the Ancient Greeks). On the plateau, you will also see the pyramids of Khafre (Chephren) and the smallest Pyramid Menkaure (Mykerinos). The plateau is also famous for the mysterious structure 'the Sphinx', and you will visit the Valley Temple. Finally, you will be transferred back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 3: Fly Cairo to Luxor - Nile Cruise Tours

After an early breakfast, your tour guide will take you to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, your representative will meet you and assist you with checking into your Nile Cruise in Luxor. You'll then head out with your tour guide to visit Karnak Temple, the world's largest ancient religious site. The hypostyle hall with its colossal granite columns is a renowned landmark in Egypt. You'll have free time to explore the complex, which was built during the reigns of various Pharaohs, before proceeding to Luxor Temple. This temple was built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for rituals and festivals dedicated to the God Amon. In the evening, you can opt for a highly recommended Sound and Light show that tells the glorious Pharaonic historical story of Luxor and Karnak. Return to your Nile cruise for an overnight stay in Luxor.

Day 4: Luxor Nile Cruise Excursions

You will start your day with a delicious breakfast served onboard while cruising towards the West Bank of the Nile. Your expert guide will accompany you to explore the remarkable archaeological sites of Ancient Thebes, which are globally renowned. Your first stop will be at the (Colossi of Memnon), the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III. After that, you will visit the impressive Temple of Hatshepsut, which is terraced and colonnaded and built into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahri. The temple graphically narrates the tale of Hatshepsut's expeditions to the enigmatic land of Punt. Your next stop will be at the Valley of the Kings, where you will witness beautifully decorated rock-cut tombs. You will get to visit three tombs, however, the Egyptian Government determines the tombs to preserve them from the large flow of visitors. Thus, the three tombs visited are rotated throughout the year, and you cannot confirm which tombs you will visit before your arrival. The most visited tombs are highly recommended. Sailing to Edfu via Esna Lock dinner and overnight stay onboard the Nile cruise vessel.

Day 5: Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples

After enjoying a delicious breakfast on your Nile cruise ship in Luxor, you will set sail to visit the fascinating Kom Ombo Temple. This temple is unique as it is dedicated to two gods, Sobek, the Crocodile God of fertility, and Horus, the falcon-headed god of the sky. Kom Ombo Temple is also famous for its depictions of surgeon's instruments, providing us with an early record of medicine and surgery in Ancient Egypt. Later in the afternoon, you will continue sailing down the Nile to visit the impressive Ptolemaic Temple of Horus at Edfu. This temple is considered to be the most complete and well-preserved of all the Egyptian temples, with its many columns, halls, chambers, and chapels. The entrance gate is flanked by two statues of Horus, and inside, you will find a fascinating inscription listing the titles of the books held in the library. After the temple visit, you will head back to your Nile cruise ship for dinner. In the meantime, you can relax on the sundeck and enjoy some afternoon tea while sailing back to Aswan for an overnight stay.

Day 6: Aswan Nile Cruise Tours

Your day will begin with a scrumptious breakfast onboard your cruise ship in Aswan. Shortly after, your Guide will meet you and take you on a journey to explore the wonders of Aswan. You'll get to witness the Unfinished Obelisk,' lying in the granite quarries that ancient Egypt used for building materials. Although abandoned due to a crack, it would have been the largest stone ever handled. Then, venture to Angelika Island by boat and witness the magnificent Philae Temple. This temple is one of the Nubian Temples that was saved before the High Dam was built. Admire the stunning colonnades, towers, and reliefs, which include the last surviving hieroglyphic and demotic inscriptions in Egypt. After your excursion, you'll return to your Nile cruise ship for lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and leisurely free time in Aswan. Rest well overnight.

Day 7: Aswan to Abu Simbel group transfer - Lake Nasser Cruise

After having breakfast, you will disembark and proceed to join our group transfer by air-conditioned Coach to Abu Simbel. This transfer will take approximately 3.5 hours. Once you arrive at Abu Simbel, you will be taken to embark on your Lake Nasser cruise. You will have lunch on board and then start exploring the enormous twin Temples of Abu Simbel, which is a fascinating experience. An optional upgrade to a flight from Aswan to Abu Simbel is available upon request.

Day 8: Lake Nasser Cruise Tours

Experience the pleasure of having breakfast while sailing towards Kasr Ibrim. Behold the magnificent view of the Kasr Ibrim Fortress from the sun deck as you make your way toward Amada. There, you'll explore the Temple of Amada, Ed Deir, and the Tomb of Pennut. After lunch on the ship, continue your journey towards Wadi el Seboua, where you'll dine and spend the night on board.

Day 9: Lake Nasser Cruise Tours

After Breakfast visits Wadi El Seboua, then take a camel ride or walk to el Dakka and Mehraka. Back to the ship to sail to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 10: Lake Nasser Cruise - Fly to Cairo

After having breakfast, you will disembark from the lake cruise and head to Kalabsha temple, which is a tribute to the Nubian God Mandulis. After that, you will move on to Beit el Wali to witness the stunning Kiosk of Kertassi, which is a temple designed in the Nubian style and devoted to the Goddess Hathor. Lastly, you will be transferred from your Cruise Boat to Aswan Airport by an air-conditioned vehicle for your flight to Cairo. You will spend the night at the Hotel in Cairo.

Day 11: Cairo Museums

On your last day in Cairo, you'll start your morning with a delicious breakfast at your hotel. Afterward, your Tour Guide will accompany you to to The New Grand Egyptian Museum, alternatively called the Giza Museum, which is an archaeological treasure trove in Giza, Egypt, approximately 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from the renowned Giza pyramid complex. The GEM Complex is granting restricted entry to evaluate site preparedness and visitor experiences before its official opening. At present, access is confined to the Main Galleries, Grand Hall, Grand Staircase, commercial zone, and outdoor garden areas. Lunch at an authentic restaurant. Afterward, head to the renowned Egyptian Museum in Cairo. The museum was designed by French architect Marcel Dourgnon in a neo-classical style and houses over 120,000 artifacts from the pre-dynastic era to the Greco-Roman period of Egypt. You'll have the chance to see famous treasures like the funerary artifacts of King Tutankhamun, the colossal statues of King Akhenaten, and the only surviving image of Khufu, who created the Great Pyramid. The museum is an excellent place to learn about the fascinating ancient Egyptian civilization and their art of mummification. Overnight stay in Cairo with free leisure time.

Day 12: Cairo - Fly Back Home

Early Reservations are advised to avoid disappointment in securing your spaces. Booking is secured upon receipt of a 25% deposit. During the Christmas holidays, packages require a deposit of 50%. forming part of your final payment. Packages and vacations which include International flights will require the full flight cost and deposit (25% or 50%) due to the regulations of the Airlines that require full payment
